If you want to add a custom sound to Growl follow these instructions (for Mac). Open your Finder. In the menu open ‘Go’ -> ‘Go to Folder’ Enter: ~/Library/Sounds Paste your sound here. Relaunch Growl. Open up preferrences, now your audio file should be available. Good luck!
