If you want to add a custom sound to Growl follow these instructions (for Mac).
- Open your Finder.
- In the menu open ‘Go’ -> ‘Go to Folder’
- Enter: ~/Library/Sounds
- Paste your sound here.
- Relaunch Growl.
- Open up preferrences, now your audio file should be available.
Good luck!
Is this for Growl 1.3.2? Or the one that is installed in System Preferences? Also, I still get the original sound playing and then the custom one I choose. I know you’re not the developer, but maybe you’ve come across something I haven’t.
Keep up the good work!
He Raiyyan, i’m using Growl 1.3.2. Which application/notification are you configuring? There might be multiple notifications for the same event with different sounds.
